Bring it back to franklinFranklin has been making some serious strides in restoring an image that it had lost. Living in Franklin, this is near and dear to the heart. We wanted to bring something back as well. The goal of this league which started in 2019 is to bring people together to have fun in our community. A stress and judgment free league where the purpose is to meet new people and have some fun while doing it.

FAQ'S
"What is Franklin Adult Coed Softball?"
Franklin Adult Coed Softball is an 18+ coed league that focuses on fun and bringing you back to your childhood. We do this through introductions, walk out songs and having a concession stand, making it more or a family and community event. We cater to all levels of play, from the new player, the player that hasn't played since high school to world's players and everything in between. For the 2024 season we will be opening the league up to 16-year-olds that have a parent playing and have obtained parental consent. Anyone under 18 will be required to wear a mask while playing the infield and a helmet while batting and running bases. The league reserves the right to disallow players under 18 to play the infield if it poses a safety issue based on skill level.
"Does the league need sponsors?"
Yes, we are always looking for sponsors at different levels.
The Official League Sponsors are $500.
Under the Lights Sponsor is $500.
Team Sponsor is $350
Snack Shack Sponsor $350
Equipment Sponsor $300
Field Sponsor is $300
General Sponsor $1 - $1,000,000 I've yet to sell anyone on a milli but still trying!
"Do we have to be from Franklin to play?"
No, Franklin Adult Coed Softball is open to NH residents.
"When are sign-ups and how much are sign-ups?"
2024 sign-ups will open January 29, 2024, and will close when we hit the 130-player capacity. The league is comprised of at least 40 females and roughly 90 males. The cost is $65 per person with a $2 online processing fee. We have hit player capacity the last 5 years before signs-ups closed, I would not wait till the last minute.
"How do we sign up?"
Online sign-ups will open January 29, 2024, this will be the only method of sign-ups for the 2024 season. Full sign-ups include online payment. First you will create an account through rec desk, then you select the program (adult softball) to register for, and finally you pay. If you do not pay, your signup has not been completed.
"Can we bring our own team or are we assigned to a team?"
We do a draft in order to keep a level playing field that allows all teams to be competitive. Even though we do a draft, we do try and accommodate SOME requests; boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, Father/Son/Daughter, Mother/Son/Daughter (You get the drift.) More than likely, in 2024 we will not be allowing friends to come as packages, this has had too many negative effects on the draft over the past few years. The draft is done via live Facebook feed and then posted on our Facebook site.
"What night do we play?"
We play Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Games are at 6:00pm, 7:30pm and 9:00pm. In past years, if there are too many rainouts, we have taken a Saturday to make those games up. The vibe on those Saturdays has been very much like a fun tournament day. Our playoffs ALWAYS involve at least one weekend day at the end of our season. Our playoffs normally start the weekend immediately at the conclusion of our regular season. In 2024 we will do an All-star game, Hall of Fame game, and Homerun derby on a Saturday mid-season.
"When does the season start and end?"
The season starts in July and runs through October.
"Is there a concession stand?"
Yes, there is a full menu under the snack shack tab.
"Does the league need any help?"
Yes, we are always looking to have as many people active in the league as possible.
